The Competition and Consumer Authority has been informed that the Ministry of Agriculture has suspended Ry Agri from supplying Tractors to beneficaries under the Temo Letlotlo Programme. The Allegations made against Ry Agri is that the tractors which have been sold to Temo Letlotlo beneficiaries are not brand new, and this could amount to unfair business practice under the consumer protection Act of 2018.

The Authority therefore alerts the public of this suspension of Ry Agric by the Ministry of Agriculture and further advices any consumer that is affected by the suspension to urgently engage the Authority.

The public is further advised to take due diligence with this supplier or any other supplier before transacting, more especially that a lot of money is involved in such transactions.
