It was red carpet affair today as NDB welcomed its new CEO Ms Ogone Madisa! She joins from BOFINET where she was Corporate Services Executive.

Ogone's career spans across Risk Management, Credit Risk across Retail, Commercial and Investment Banking, Policy Formulation, Financial Management, Business Development, Sales & Relationship Management, Culture & Transformation, Strategy Development & Execution, Leadership, People Management and Performance Management.

Ogone is a Chartered Accountant and is also an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). Additionally, she possesses a Senior Executive Leadership Certificate from Gordons Institute of Business Science at the University of Pretoria.

Ms Madisa is also an Independent Trustee for the Foreign National Service Retirement Plan under the American Embassy; an alternate Director for Western Indian Ocean Cable Company (WIOCC) based in Mauritius where she is also a member of the Investment Committee; and is also a board member and Chairperson of the Audit & Risk Committee of the Botswana Agricultural Marketing Board (BAMB).

As the CEO, Ogone will be responsible for managing overall operations of NDB and setting the company's strategic direction as set out in Letsema Le Tsweletse 2022-25. Her wealth of experience will prove critical in returning the Bank to profitability and ensuring its successful transformation into an Agribank.
