On the 19th February 2014, a historic landmark in the history of this country was officially opened by the Minister of Youth, Sports and Culture Honourable Mr Thapelo Olopeng. This landmark is a Community Fitness Park in Block 7 which was proudly sponsored by NDB in partnership with Symphony Health and the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture.

During his speech the Minister congratulated the Bank for taking part in this well thought initiative as it will reduce the numbers of non-communicable diseases such as hypertension, obesity and cardiac complication. Honourable Mr Thapelo Olopeng also promised the community in attendance that similar facilities are planned to be rolled out country wide.
