NDB takes the media on projects tours as part of its 55 year celebrations

NDB recently took members of the fourth estate on a media tour of the Bank’s projects in Gaborone and surrounding areas. This tour was meant to highlight NDB’s contributions to the economy of Botswana by highlighting some of its success stories as part of the Bank’s 55-year celebration. The tour took place on the Friday 7 th of June 2019 visited projects such as Staywell Hotels in mogoditshane, Aquarian Tide Hotel, Impact Genetics; Business Academy in Block 9 and Organic Fertilizer in Mmamashia to name but a few.

During the one (1) day tour, NDB head of Client Services Sethunya Gaolebogwe highlighted the Banks continued commitment to financing projects that lead to economic diversification as well asemployment creation in line with the government’s economic transformation agenda. She further highlighted that NDB remains the ideal partner for SMES because of its risk appetite as the Bank itsreceptive to projects that commercial banks usually shun. The Banks intends to hold further media tours to highlight its footprint across the country over the past 55 years.
