National Development Bank (NDB) opens a newly refurbished branch

The 29th June 2015 marked another first for the National Development Bank! The Bank opened its newly refurbished branch which is fully compliant with the requirements of Bank of Botswana. At a small intimate internal launch; Morapedi delivered a key note address titled “Revamped space- Enforced values- Improved customer experience”, to the NDB team. She emphasized that while the new space has been designed to energize and inspire staff to improve their daily performance, key to the success of the Bank is exceptional customer service inspired by the Bank’s values of Teamwork, Excellence, Accountability and Customer Orientation. She further highlighted that the branch is part of the Bank’s customer service strategy that focuses on improved value proposition to both internal and external customers. Morapedi appealed to staff to ensure that NDB clients are treated to a memorable experience at all occasions that they visit the Bank.

The new space, adorned with the Bank’s new identity colours and contemporary furnish offers a refreshing, vibrant space with a welcoming reception area; more teller counters that include one for a disabled personnel; inviting Sales Executive cubicles; four meeting rooms to afford clients privacy, a Customer Service Manager’s office right in the middle of the Banking hall for easy access and monitoring of all branch activities. In addition to the Banking hall, the new branch offers an intimate, deluxe space for business where Relationship Managers will host the Bank’s business clients.

The Maun, Francistown and Palapye refurbished branches will soon to be opened to the public. The refurbishment of branches, rebranding and installation of an integrated banking system, are part of the preparations for the Bank to commercialize.
